چکیده
Pentacyclic triterpenoic acids, betulinic acid, platanic oleanolic acid and ursolic were acetylated subsequently converted into mono-, bis- tris(hydroxyl)ethyl amides. While parent compounds are of none or minor cytotoxicity, these amides showed EC50 values even in low μM concentration for a variety different human tumor cell lines. Especially bis(hydroxyethyl)amide 12 derived from held an = 7.7 A375 melanoma cells while being less cytotoxic non-malignant fibroblasts NIH 3 T3 (EC50 > 30 μM). Several their corresponding sulfamates. sulfamates no inhibitory activity the enzyme carbonic anhydrase II, highest cytotoxicity was observed sulfamate 17 with 4.9 cells.

Producing Soluble Human Programmed Cell Death Protein-1: A Natural supporter for CD4+T cell Cytotoxicity and Tumor Cells Apoptosis
Background: Programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1)/PD-L1 pathway is one of the immune checkpoint pathways involved in regulation of the immune responses and suppression of anti-tumor defense. PD-1/B7-H1-blocking antibodies improve immune responses such as cytotoxic activity of CD8+/CD4+T cells and also increase mortality of tumor cells; however their use is accompanied by adverse effects in pat...
متن کاملHuman monocyte antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity to tumor cells.
Previous investigations of mononuclear cell antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) toward tumor cells suggest that K lymphocytes and not monocytes are active in this cytotoxic reaction. This report, however, demonstrates that human monocytes are able to carry out ADCC toward three different human tumor cell lines (CEM T lymphoblasts, Raji bone marrow-derived (B) lymphoblasts, and ...
متن کاملCytotoxicity of human macrophages for tumor cells. Enhancement by human lymphocyte mediators.
Human macrophages, derived from peripheral blood monocytes, acquire enhanced cytotoxicity for human target cells after incubation in mediator-rich supernates from antigen-stimulated lymphocytes. Maximum cytotoxicity was observed after 24-h incubation in mediators. In comparison to normal macrophages, mediator-activated macrophages were cytotoxic to five of the six malignant cell lines tested bu...
متن کاملHuman pulmonary macrophage tumor cell cytotoxicity.
In vivo animal studies support the concept that monocytes and macrophages are important in the immune surveillance of oncogenesis and in vitro activated murine macrophages are cytocidal for tumor cells. In this study. we examined human pulmonary macrophage and blood monocyte tumor cell cytotoxicity (a measure of cytostasis and cell kill) and cytocidal activity (cell kill). Three human tumor cel...
